Shear walls and deep beams of a building model are available as independent objects in the design add-ons. This allows for faster filtering of the objects in results, as well as better documentation in the printout report.
As soon as the program has completed the calculation, the summary of the results is listed. All result windows are integrated in the main program RFEM/RSTAB. You will find all the results arranged in tables; they can be displayed for each individual time step or as an envelope, and you also have the option of displaying the results graphically as well as animating them.
The results from the time history analysis can be displayed in the calculation diagrams. All the results are shown as a function of time. You can export the numeric values to MS Excel.
All result tables and graphics are part of the RFEM/RSTAB printout report. In this way, you can ensure clearly arranged documentation. You can also export the tables to MS Excel.
In the "Shear Reinforcement" tab, you can select the option "Cross-ties over free rebars with active selection in graphic". It allows you to arrange additional cross-ties on free rebars of the longitudinal reinforcement.
You can activate or deactivate the position of the cross-ties in the Info Graphic. The cross-ties are applied for the ultimate limit state design and the structural design checks. They are available for the design according to EN 1992‑1‑1.
When designing connections, you can now also insert a new member as a component directly in the Steel Joints add-on. This will only be considered for the connection design. You can use the Weld and Fasteners components to connect to other members.
Furthermore, it is possible to use the Member Section and Member Editor components and arrange reinforcement elements on the inserted member, such as stiffeners and tapers.
Your data are always documented in a multilingual printout report. You can adjust the content at any time and save it as a template. You can also add graphics, texts, MathML formulas, and PDF documents to your report with just a few clicks.
You can find the serviceability limit state design checks in the result tables of the Aluminum Design add-on. They are already fully integrated there. You have the option to display the design results with all the details at each location of the designed members. You can also use graphics with the result diagrams of the design ratios.
You can integrate all result tables and graphics into the global printout report of RFEM/RSTAB as a part of the aluminum design results. RFEM/RSTAB also allows you to display and document the deformations of the entire structure independently of the add-on.
Do you prefer it clear? So do we! That's why all performed design checks for the design standard are displayed for you in a clear way. You determine a design criterion for each design check. You get design details, which include the initial values, intermediate results, and final results, arranged in a structured way for each design check. You can find the calculation process with the applied formulas, standard sources, and results in great detail in an information window in the design details.
Was your design successful? Very good, now comes the relaxed part. Because the program gives you the performed design checks in a table. You can display all result details in detail here. The clearly presented design formulas ensure that you will be able to understand the results without any problems. There is no black-box effect with Dlubal Software.
The design checks are carried out at all governing locations of the members and displayed graphically as a result diagram. You can find more detailed graphics in the result output. This includes the stress distribution on the cross-section or the governing mode shape, for example.
All input and result data are part of the RFEM/RSTAB printout report. You can select the report contents and extent specifically for the individual design checks.
This feature also contributes to the clearly-arranged display of your results. Clipping planes are intersecting planes that you can place freely throughout the model. The zone in front of or behind the plane is consequently hidden in the display. This way, you can clearly and simply show the results in an intersection or a solid, for example.
A wide range of cross-sections, such as rectangular sections, square sections, T‑sections, circular sections, built-up cross-sections, irregular parametric cross-sections, and many others (suitability for design depends on the selected standard)
Design of cross-laminated timber (CLT)
Design of timber-based materials and laminated veneer lumber according to EC 5
Design of tapered and curved members (design method according to the standard)
Adjustment of the essential design factors and standard parameters is possible
Flexibility due to detailed setting options for basis and extent of calculations
Fast and clear results output for an immediate overview of the result distribution after the design
Detailed output of the design results and essential formulas (comprehensible and verifiable result path)
Numerical results clearly arranged in tables and graphical display of the results in the model
Integration of the output into the RFEM/RSTAB printout report
As you probably know, the design checks for the selected members are carried out, taking into account the defined charring time. All necessary reduction factors and coefficients are stored accordingly in the program and are taken into account when determining the load-bearing capacity. That saves you a lot of work.
The effective lengths for the equivalent member design are taken directly from the strength entries. You do not have to enter them again.
After completing the design, the program presents the fire resistance design checks clearly and with all result details. This allows you to follow the results completely transparently. The results also contain all the required parameters, so you can determine the component temperature at the design time.
In addition to all these features, the program allows you to integrate all result tables and graphics, including the ultimate and serviceability limit state results, into the global printout report of RFEM/RSTAB as a part of the steel design results.
If your design is successful, the relaxed part of your work follows. Because the program does many processes for you. For example, the performed design checks are displayed in a table. It shows you all the result details. Due to the clearly presented design formulas, you will be able to understand the results without any problems. There is no "black box" effect here.
The design checks are carried out at all governing locations of the members and displayed graphically as a result diagram. Furthermore, detailed graphics, such as the stress distribution on a cross-section or the governing mode shape, are available for you in the result output.

You find the serviceability limit state design fully integrated in the result tables of the Timber Design add-on. If yuo want to check the design results, you can open the program and display the results with all the details at each location of the designed members. Furthermore, graphics are available for you with the result diagrams of the design ratios.
A special thing is that All result tables and graphics can be integrated into the global printout report of RFEM/RSTAB as a part of the timber design results. You can also display and document the deformations of the entire structure as a part of the RFEM/RSTAB functionality. This function is independent of the add-on.

This gives you a good overview.
You can also integrate all result tables and graphics into the global printout report of RFEM/RSTAB as a part of the steel design results. Thus, you can display and document the deformations of the entire structure as a part of the RFEM/RSTAB functionality independent of the add-on.
After completing the design, the Dlubal Software presents the fire resistance design checks clearly and with all result details. This makes the results comprehensible in detail. Furthermore, the results also contain all the parameters required for the determination of the component temperature at the design time.
You can also specifically evaluate the temperature distribution in the structural component using the temperature-time diagram.
All result tables and graphics, including the ultimate and serviceability limit state results, can be integrated into the global printout report of RFEM/RSTAB as a part of the steel design results.
Perform the fire resistance design with a reduced load-bearing capacity according to the component temperature determined automatically right at the design time. You can determine this automatically according to various temperature curves in the program (a standard temperature-time curve, an external fire curve, a hydrocarbon curve). For other types of temperature determination, it is also possible for you to manually specify the temperature to be applied in the design. You can determine this, for example, according to the parametric temperature-time curve from DIN EN 1991‑1‑2 or from a fire protection report.
Is a clear arrangement important for you? The program provides you with a clear overview of all performed design checks for the design standard. The structural analysis program provides you with a clear overview of all performed design checks for the design standard. You have to determine a design criterion for each design check. In addition to the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state design, the program checks the design rules of the standard. For each design check, there are the design details including the initial values, intermediate results, and final results, arranged in a structured way. An information window in the design details shows you the calculation process with the applied formulas, standard sources, and results in great detail.
There are also optimizations for the clear arrangement of your results. To better display the results, you can reduce the displayed columns and rows with the new Result Table Manager.
A clear arrangement of the Dlubal programs has a high priority. Therefore, the reference descriptions of incremental dimension lines are now given in tabular form for a better overview.
